Ritulog Privacy Policy

Ritulog is a habit-building app. This policy explains what data it processes, why, who it is shared with and how to exercise your rights.

What data we process
- App usage data: your habits, daily entries, your identities and Sky constellations (including the ones you name yourself), experience and level, streak freezes and settings. They are stored on your device and, if sync is active, in the cloud too.
- Anonymous account identifier: when you open the app an anonymous session is created so your data can be synced. It does not contain your name or email.
- Email, only if you choose to link it, to recover your progress on another device.
- Social features (optional, require a linked email): display name, level, streak, friend code, your friendships and any reports you send. Accepted friends see only your name, your level and your best current streak; never your habits. People with a pending friend request with you also see your name.
- Purchases: the Premium subscription is handled by Apple or Google and RevenueCat. We do not receive your payment details.
We do not use advertising, analytics or tracking tools, and we do not sell your data.
Why we use it
To run the app, sync your progress between devices, provide the social features, manage your subscription and handle your requests. The legal basis is performing the service you request and, for email and social features, your consent when you turn them on.
Who we share it with
With providers that process data on our behalf: Supabase (storage and authentication), RevenueCat (subscription management) and Apple and Google (app stores). They may process data outside the European Economic Area with appropriate safeguards.
How long we keep it
Until you delete your account. In Settings → "Delete my account and data" you permanently remove your data from the cloud and from the device, including any reports you sent. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription: cancel it in your store settings. Subscription data held by Apple, Google and RevenueCat is governed by their own policies; you can write to us and we will request its deletion.
Your rights
You can ask for access to your data, rectification, erasure, portability (we send you a copy in JSON), restriction or objection by writing to david@pintadev.com, or see how to delete your account at https://ritulog.pintadev.com/delete-account/. We reply within 30 days. You can also lodge a complaint with the data protection authority of your country.
Children
Ritulog is not directed at children under 14. If you believe a child under 14 has given us data, write to us and we will delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy we will publish the new version here with its update date.
